BF6 Battle Royale Arrives Tomorrow as a F2P Experience

After quite some time of rumors, the battle royale game type for BF6 is finally releasing. Last week's talk claiming its arrival would align with the new season were true. Players can dive into the gameplay starting very soon.

The New Season Adding a New Map, Mode, and Weapons

Together with the BR mode, the new season is also beginning. It brings a fresh location, a new mode, and an expanded arsenal. What's more, Redsec is making its debut. A featured teaser will become available at release, offering players a taste of what's to come.

Complimentary Structure Enables Battle Royale Open to Everyone

Perhaps the biggest announcement is that Battlefield Redsec will be F2P. Much like popular titles, you do not need to buy the base game to participate. Some players have earlier tested early versions of the experience. These playtests were run in a testing environment, which the developers described as their most ambitious player partnership effort.

The intense thrill while fighting opposing teams is unmatched in any other last-man-standing mode. It's like do or die, and you really mind if you die or survive.
Despite being a critic earlier, I'm now supportive of the BR mode since trying it.

Such early impressions from participants have been very positive. Of course, the gameplay may have been adjusted over the last couple of months in terms of tuning and pace. However, early signs are promising that Redsec could become a genuine alternative to established offerings. Many are expecting that the top weapons from the original Battlefield 6 will carry over in the new mode.
