Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.

The parade route ended at the stadium, where the team emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and the artist cruising a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

The World Series served as a positive moment in what has been a trying year for Los Angeles. An estimated quarter-million people showed up to the championship parade last year, and according to Dodgers player one athlete, fans this year showed equal or greater support.
“It seems it’s nearly twice from last year,” Freeman remarked. “These fans are crazy. It’s truly amazing to be a part of this.”
